Research Phase I: Strategic Planning
An information
gathering exercise, strategic planning sets forth the objectives for the anticipated space, from the identification of unique operational characteristics to square footage requirements. During this phase,
the project's parameters are established, the design team assembled, the schedule drafted and budgeting outlined. Space analysis is just one of the necessary services performed during this phase, after
which a strategic planning report is prepared and presented to the client. Most important, quantitative information is gathered to assist in later planning.
