Phase II:  Conceptual Design

With the strategic planning report approved, the project goes into action. All building systems are reviewed, and elements such as partitioning, lighting, communications, materials and finishes are explored. Even artwork, plants and signage are concepted. A schematic, or initial design concept is then developed, conveyed through drawings, sketches, material samples and space plans. A preliminary budget and schedule accompany the final presentation.
