Phase IV: Construction Documentation

Once the design development presentation has been approved, documents are drafted in preparation for the bidding and contracting of construction and furnishings. These documents include drawings, schedules, coded plans, details and specifications. Drawings will be coordinated with either the landlord's or owner's requirements and consultants' documents. The designer will also prepare the necessary plans, specifications and instructions to bidders to be used by the general contractor in pricing and, later, constructing the project.
