Mergers, acquisitions and business positioning continues on the "Digital Coast." The growth of information sourcing and retailing on the Internet continues to inspire new products and services related to commerce.

Tenants' appetite for creative space remains cautiously  healthy. Landlords are subleasing properties built by dot.com which attract progressive users, however renovations are usually necessary to reinterpret the needs of the new users. 

Entertainment and technology users seek contemporary design, with more long lasting ideas in mind. High ceilings, exposed beams, skylights, polished concrete floors and operable windows are common design directions among the creative users.

Business amenities typically include food facilities, multifunction rooms, meeting spaces and rooms, and flexspace. The space is often equipped with high-tech transmission lines, an intensive computer backbone  with expanded data transmission and self-protecting utilities.
